This user-friendly platform is designed to help you navigate the diverse landscape of Education Savings Accounts across different programs. As a parent, this tool will show you a an easy to understand outline on the steps you need to take in order to set up an ESA and how to access the funds.

  • APPLICATION AND APPROVAL: APPLICATION AND APPROVAL
  • Application And Approval Steps:
    • Step:

      Sign up in Odyssey platform.

    • Step:

      Fill out parent/guardian information, including address information.

    • Step:

      Fill out student information.

    • Step:

      Fill out tax identification information. This requires a Tax Identification Number or Social Security Number. If the parent or guardian filed a 2024 tax return with a married status, you must include the spouse’s information to proceed with the application process. 

    • Step:

      Review the consent and approval statements. After reading, check each box to confirm your understanding and agreement.

      Sign acknowledgements and submit.

      Follow Odyssey’s instructions as Odyssey attempts to verify the above automatically.

  • ESA dollars steps:
    • Step:

      After approval, Odyssey will require the parent/guardian to select their student's school and grade. 

    • Step:

      If there are remaining funds after paying for tuition and fees, additional eligible educational expenses may be purchased through the Odyssey Marketplace. Any purchases outside the Odyssey Marketplace cannot be reimbursed. A list of eligible expenses is available here.
