NEW HAMPSHIRE: Education Freedom Account Program

  • APPLICATION AND APPROVAL: APPLICATION AND APPROVAL
  • Application And Approval Steps:
    • Step:

      Parents must create an account in the family portal 

    • Step:

      Info needed for application (one per FAMILY, not one per child):

      1. Parents information
      2. Child's information
        1. State assigned student ID number
      3. What type of school the child will be attending
      4. Agreements including a guarantee to provide an annual record of educational attainment by 7/15 of each year
        one of:      
        1. results of a standardized achievement test
        2. have the student take the statewide assessment test
        3. providing a letter showing proof of a portfolio evaluation to the SGO
      5. Submitting household financial info
    • Step:

      Application is complete once application and supporting documents have been verified by the SGO

    • Step:

      Parents will be notified via email by the SGO that student is eligible

    • Step:

      NHDOE will cross check eligible student before funding 

  • SPENDING ESA DOLLARS: SPENDING ESA DOLLARS
  • ESA dollars steps:
    • Step:

      Funds will be disbursed four times during the fiscal year

      Parents will receive an email from the digital wallet provider with instructions how to access account
